琵琶湖は動いている。

表題の通りですが、そうらしいです。
昨日、今日と労働組合の研修で琵琶湖のほとりで時を過ごしてきました。

その中での一幕。

その説によると、もともと琵琶湖は三重県にあり、一年に数センチずつ浸食しながら北上し、
今の位置にあるそうです。

あと数百万年後には、琵琶湾みたいに日本海と同化しているかも、ということでした。
こういうのはびわこ検定には載ってるのかね？

"Lake BIWA is moving"

The title shows what I want to tell.
I happened to know this through a conference of Labor Union.

According to one view, Lake BIWA was located in MIE prefecture and
it have been moving northward by some centimeters every years.

Several million years later, Lake BIWA might become BIWA bay
as a result of this invasion.
